REFERRAL CODES
Referral Codes
Referral codes let you invite companies and candidates into the network while keeping source attribution connected to your account. If later activity results in a qualified placement, that attribution can support a future sourcer payout.
01 -- OVERVIEW
What a referral code does
A referral code is used to connect a new signup back to the original source.
When someone joins through your code, the platform can attach that company or candidate to your account for attribution purposes.
The referral code does not create an instant payout by itself. It creates the attribution layer that may later support a sourcer payout if a qualified placement happens.
02 -- TWO PATHS
Referral codes can be used in two ways
Referral codes support both company-side and candidate-side sourcing.
The type of invite matters because it determines what kind of attribution is created and how future payout eligibility may apply.
Company path
Use this path when inviting a direct company to join Splits Network.
Candidate path
Use this path when inviting a candidate into Applicant Network.
Attribution matters
The invited user type determines whether the relationship is treated as company-side or candidate-side sourcing.
The referral code flow
Referral codes create attribution first. Payout only happens later if the platform activity qualifies.
Create a referral code
Go to Management > Referral Codes in your dashboard and create a code for your outreach.
Share the correct link
Use the appropriate path depending on whether you are inviting a company or a candidate.
The signup is attributed
When someone joins through your code, the platform can connect that signup back to you as the original source.
Future activity may qualify
If that referred relationship later results in a qualified placement, a sourcer payout may be created under platform rules.
03 -- IMPORTANT
What referral codes do not do
Referral codes do not guarantee a payout.
They also do not turn recruiting agencies or recruiting firms into eligible Company Sourcer residual relationships. Company-side sourcing applies to direct companies only.
The referral code creates attribution. Actual payout depends on platform rules and a completed qualified placement.
